OZO Pattaya is part of the Amari -ONYX Hospitality Group and the first major architectural and interior design partnership for SL+A with ONYX.
The hotel is a landmark on beach road Pattaya and 1 minute from the beach. This 406 key full-service hotel by SL+A is a fresh take on the resort hotel with generous gardens, walk-in access, and multiple wets cape areas. Along with gym, dining, meeting, and conference facilities, the hotel includes a 1,000 person ballroom for events and product launches. Open to beach road the active ground floor including the lobby, pools gardens and invites both guests and passing traffic to enjoy its dining and bar area while allowing the operators to manage the practical aspects without imposing on guests. It has a vibrant ground floor including an open lobby, pools, bar, dining, and street-front shops that have resort buses while the rooms are courtyard facing and offer a quiet respite from the activities outside.
The hotel has a range of room types with light fresh clean interiors and generous bathrooms and shower area – fun and playful with a gentle nod to its tropical and Thai location. Color and graphics are used to enliven both corridors and rooms and guide overindulgent guests to their correct floors.
SL+A’s scope included Architecture, Interior Design, and support through construction. Working with Meinhardt Engineering and PM on the hotel opening in December 2020.
